Q9 Low Voltage Variable Torque HVAC VFD
The Q9 Adjustable Speed Drive is a solid-state AC drive designed for commercial variable torque applications such as fans and pumps for VAV systems, cooling towers, and pump systems. The Q9 features a multifunction LCD display that provides a programming interface, monitoring display, and operation mode. The Q9 provides protection against drive overload, motor overload, overvoltage and ground faults, to name a few. These features make the Q9 suitable for a wide variety of applications that require reliable motor control.
| The Q9 is available as a power unit or in a variety of configurations. Starting with a steel NEMA
1 enclosure with circuit breaker options include two or three contact bypass, 3 or 5% AC line reactor, DC link reactor.
Power units rated 15 to 60HP 230V and 30 to 125HP 460V have a built in DC link reactor. |

FS1 Low Voltage Variable Torque HVAC VFD
The FS1 is Toshiba?s newest HVAC product. It is easy to operate and offers a seamless, one-touch switch between local
and remote operation with built-in features that make it ideal for fan and pump applications.
The FS1 provides harmonic mitigation with or without using a line reactor. Toshiba?s unique technology suppressed the
harmonic currents that have the greatest affect on power sources. It is engineered to optimize fan and pump efficiency at
normally inefficient, low speeds. The FS1 is built to last. Its main capacitors have a 15 year design life. No other HVAC
drive offers such reliable performance and extensive capabilities at such a competitive price.
The FS1 is available as a power unit or
with a matching NEMA 1 extender box. Extender boxes include
input fuses, disconnect switch, 2 contactor bypass,
overloads and Inverter /Off/Bypass switch.
The extender box can be purchased separately for field installation on an existing FS1.
Both the Q9 and FS1 have a variety of communications options. Modbus RTU is standard. Both drives have RS485 ports. Optional building management communication cards include BacNet,
LonWorks, Apogee FLN and Metasys N2.
